[plus]Dating from at least 1684 The Three Houses is one of the oldest public houses in West Yorkshire. As its name suggests it was formed by the joining of three separate dwellings.
This is a well known local landmark and there are many legends attached to this place. The interior contains several historic artefacts relating to 17th and 18th century stagecoaches and a carved wooden chair on display is said to be the place where the notorious Yorkshire highwayman William Nevison was sitting when he was finally arrested.
Bar meals are available Tuesday to Saturday between 5:30pm and 9:30pm and Sunday lunch is available on Sunday from midday until 3pm.
